Dear customer,

we want our visitors to abide by regulations concerning the sports and recreation area in order  to provide a well-regulated, safe and easy-going use of our sports facilities.

Sports Area Regulations :

Coverage

The sports area covers all sport facilities used by sportsmen, including buildings, interior, technical equipment, sanitation, changing rooms, recreation rooms, tool sheds, secondary rooms and secondary areas for sporting activities.

The scope of this directive lasts from entering the Sportcenter till leaving.

Registration, Orientation, Instructions

All sportsmen, visitors ( spectators ) have to register at the reception immediately after entering the complex.

Except people, who are just visiting the restaurant or being invited by the organizer of an authorized event.

An introduction and instruction by an authorized employee ( receptionist / groundkeeper ) befor first-time use of the sports area is obligatory.

Instructions by employees, as well as from members of the board and occasional marshals, must be obeyed.

These specific instructions are – even in individual cases – part of Sports Area Regulations.

General Codes Of Conduct

Sport facilities and associated secondary installations must be used carefully and in an adequate way.
The user is obligated to save the sport facilities from damage.

Within the sports area each sportsman and visitor must behave in a way, that doesn’t effect, harm, bother or endanger somebody else. People, who disregard Sports Area Regulations or disobey instructions from authorized personal can be suspended for a limited period or permanently from usage of our sports facilities. In such a case there is no abatement of the charge previously agreed upon. The operating authority of Sportcenter Donaucity reserves the right to take consecutive legal steps.

Use Of Sports Facilities

The person on duty at Sportcenter is authorized to temporarely ban usage of sports facilities ( according to the rules of the concerning sport ).

Special appointments at singular sports facilities are part of Sports Area Regulations.

Please start and finish your sports unit on time to provide a frictionless course of ball games.

In areas of ball sports children are just allowed to stay under supervision of an authorized person.

Payment of sports activities must be done unexceptionally before starting the unit.

Tennis

Any other shoes than tennis-shoes are not allowed on tennis-courts.

Tennis-shoes which already have been used on sand-courts are not allowed on carpet-courts.

Sand-courts, indoor as well as outdoor, must be trodden with adequate tennis-shoes ( no chunky rib tread or studs ).

Please start sweeping the sand-courts ( there is a mat at each court ) 5 minutes before ending the unit, so that the following game can start on time.

Soccer

At Sportcenter Donaucity soccer-shoes with interchangeable or metal studs are not allowed.

The football indoor facility with wooden floor must be entered only with adequate, clean indoor-shoes . Shoes, which cause black stripes on the floor are strictly forbidden.

In case of contamination or damage the costs ( € 500,-- ) are charged to the responsible party.

If you are in doubt about your shoes please contact the Sportcenter-staff.

Adequate shoes can be rent at our office.

Beachvolleyball

Adjustment in net-height is not allowed to players. On special occasions it can be done only by employees of Sportcenter Donaucity.

Changing rooms and sanitary must be entered with feet free of sand.

Loan Objects / Changingroom Keys

There has to be a deposit ( identy card, car-key,…) for loan objects ( shoes, balls, shirts,
rackets,…) and for keys of football changing rooms.

Rental must be paid before starting the game.

Sauna

There are special sauna-regulations, which are posted in the relaxation room, next to the sauna-cabin.

Sauna is operating only during tennis-winterseason.

Children’s Playground

Use of playground is allowed in an age-based way and under survey of an authorized person ( parents, teacher,.. ).

Compliance With Official Directives

Dangerous and hazardous goods or objects ( weapons, bats, pyrotechnic articles, highly inflammable liquids, etc….), as well as unwieldy objects are not allowed to be carried into our area.

Rules concerning employment protection and fire prevention are generally binding to sportsmen and visitors.

Open fires or barbecues are strictly forbidden.

Emergency exits have to be kept entirely clear.

Access to extinguishing installations must not be blocked.

Directions by special task forces  ( police, fire brigade, emergency rescue, etc. ) must be obeyed.

Climbing on fences, walls, trees, lamp posts, etc. is strictly forbidden.

Entrainment of musical instruments, sound systems, sirenes, horns or any other noisemakers is not allowed.

There may be special diverse  agreements with organizers of authorized events.

Entrainment Of Animals

It is not allowed to bring animals into the sports area, except to the restaurant ( including the sun terrace ).

Bicycles, Skateboards, Inline-Skates

Bicycling, inline skating, skateboarding and similar sports activities are banned on the entire sports area with exception of the parking area. Bicycles must be wheeled to the bicycle rack next to our office or next to the restaurant and be parked there ( it is not allowed to wheel or ride the bicycle beyond the bicycle rack ).

Alcohol And Smoking

Entrainment of alcohol into the sports area and consumption of alcoholic beverages  next to the sportgrounds is not allowed. Use of glas containments is generally forbidden. Different agreements can be made between organizers of authorized events and management of Sportcenter Donaucity.

Areas next to sportgrounds are non-smoking areas. Smoking is only allowed at specially marked spots. Please dispose cigarette stubs into provided ashtrays !

Clothing

The exercise of sports must take place in an adequate outfit.

There must be no sport-exercise with bare upper-body, except in beachvolleyball.

Loss Of Valuables, Objects Found

Valuables should not be taken to the sports area.

There is generally no assumption of liability at loss or damage.

Objects found must be handed over to the reception ( confirmation of receipt for valuables ) and will be treated according to legal directions.

Parking

Sportcenter Donaucity provides parking space ( depending on the degree of capacity utilization ) for a fee to our customers and visitors.

There is no claim for available parking space.

Please pay attention to not obstructing other cars or passage ways.

There is a speed limit of 10 km/h.

Parking area is covered by StVO ( Austrian road traffic regulations ).

Events

Sport meetings and special events just take place based on a contract with management  of Sportcenter and are bound to regulations arranged in that contract. In that case participants and the organizer(s) of the event are liable to comply with the regulations of the contract, the Sports Area Regulations and general legal reguIations.

Video Control

To provide maximum security to our guests and staff the complex of Sportcenter Donaucity ( with exception of changing rooms and sanitary ) is supervised by video cameras. Hereby users and guests of the complex are informed about the video surveillance system and agree to it when entering the area.

Advertising

There is no posting of placards, no publishing of flyers, announcements, brochures, etc. without an explicit approval by Sportcenter management.

Selling goods of any kind needs an approval by the management without prejudice to general rights and regulations on trade.

Liability  (Exclusion)

The use of Sportcenter’s facilities and sports grounds ( including children’s playground ) takes place at one’s own risk, regardless to BBSV’s duty of keeping facilities and equipments in good repair.

BBSV assumes no liability to users or visitors of Sportcenter for injuries or damages of any kind, except caused by gross negligence of Sportcenter’s employees or represantatives.

Recourses for damages or injuries must be claimed and recorded in written form at Sportcenter management immediately after the incident.

Burdon of proof lies on the injured person.

In case of damage to a third person the originator or a responsible superviser is liable.

Burglary, theft or vandalism is immediately reported to the police.

There is no compensation by BBSV for lost or stolen objects ( including objects in lockers, football changing rooms ).

Lost and found property is treated according to legal regulations.

Parents and supervising persons are liable for their children on the entire area of Sportcenter Donaucity.

Parking is at one’s own risk. BBSV assumes no liability for parked cars or objects inside the cars.

Liability regulations are also binding for events ( as mentioned above ).
