There is hardly no other sport than beachvolleyball,
which makes you feel being on a "Holiday in Vienna".

Athletes in a beach-like outfit will perfectly fit into the
imagination of spending some time at the seaside....

We integrated 10 courts wonderfully into our park-like sports area.

The sand is the same as used at the yearly Grand Slam Tournament in Klagenfurt.
The sand is mined near Lackenbach / Burgenland.

Excellent light-conditions, due to a perfect, professional floodlight-system, 
support volleyball action till 10 p.m.

We pay highest value on court-maintenance.
At least one time a week the courts are aerated and shaped
with special tools and machines.

More than 8.000 hours of  "digging" and "serving" took place at our courts in the
year of 2009 - that's why it is very hard to find free hours on weekdays.

Frequent players even make their subscription in autumn for the following year.
From Monday to Friday nearly all units 6 - 8 p.m. and 8 - 10 p.m. are already booked.
There is more vacancy from 4 - 6 p.m.

We made a general pre-reservation for company-events or private tournaments on Thursdays and Fridays at 3 courts between 12 a.m. and  6 p.m.

Mostly company-events and workshops with premium trainers take place on
Saturdays - so subscriptions for Saturday-units are just possible by special agreement. 

It's a real pleasure to see our players reaching higher levels from year to year.

Austria's most succesful beachvolleyball team, the "Schwaiger Sisters"
(5th at Olympics 2008 in Beijing, European Vice-Champion 2009, best
Worldcup ranking: 3) very often chooses our courts ( usually nr. 2 ) for
training sessions, which always mark a highlight in beachvolleyball activity
at Sportcenter Donaucity.
